DISS Fittings
A number of accessories to connect a gas source (O2 or N2O ) to an anesthesia machine are available. Regulators are specific for the type of gas and tank size (small, E-cylinder or large, H-cylinder) used. All regulators terminate in a gas specific male DISS fitting. E-cylinder regulators attach to tank using a yoke and can only be used with E-size tanks with a post block.
