These decapitators have two hardened, ground and polished surgical stainless steel blades, a cast aluminum base and stainless hardware. The base has four holes for permanent mounting to a table top.

These decapitators have two hardened, ground and polished surgical stainless steel blades, a cast aluminum base and stainless hardware. The base has four holes for permanent mounting to a table top.
Two sizes of decapitator are offered: small and large. The small decapitator has a maximum blade opening of 38 mm (1-1/2 in) square and weighs 1.8 kg (1 lb). It is used for rats, mice and other small animals. The large decapitator has a maximum blade opening of 102 mm (4 in) square and weighs 4.1 kg (9 lb). It is used for rabbits, small monkeys and similar sized animals.
