The Galilean systems are binocular spectacle magnifiers. They are ideal for all near tasks that require one’s hands to be free such detailed procedures or inspection work. Galilean systems are small, light-weight optical systems similar to telescopes. They are comprised of a positive objective lens and a negative ocular lens.

The Galilean systems are binocular spectacle magnifiers. They are ideal for all near tasks that require one’s hands to be free such detailed procedures or inspection work. Galilean systems are small, light-weight optical systems similar to telescopes. They are comprised of a positive objective lens and a negative ocular lens.
These spectacle magnifiers are calculated for a fixed working distance and also for a certain angle of convergence. Additional fine focusing and diopter setting is possible. Available in 3 magnifications for close-up work: 2.5x, 3x and 4x. Each spectacle is supplied complete with a leather zippered case to store the spectacle when not in use.
