LabChart Modules are LabChart software add-ons that provide highly specialized data acquisition and analysis features for specific applications, for example analysis of heart rate variability from a recorded ECG signal. Additional LabChart Functionality - LabChart Extensions:
LabChart Extensions provide a number of features that add specific functionality to LabChart software. Some extensions are included with the standard LabChart Installer and others are available to download from our website. Notch, low-pass, high-pass, and mains hum filtering options are built into LabChart, however additional LabChart Extensions are available. Use RMS & Noise to show the root-mean-square value and standard deviation of a trace, or use the Savitzky-Golay algorithm to perform data smoothing.
With analysis windows such as Amplitude Histogram, Curve Fit, STM and XY Plot you can fit a range of functions to experimental data, analyse signal amplitude frequency distribution or apply spectral temporal mapping.
Measurement & Calibrations:
Apply linear or non-linear calibration, calibrate LabChart for spectrometry or calculate parameters (such as height, slope, etc) for individual peaks, and more. Useful extensions include Multipoint Calibration, Peak Parameters, pH Measurement and Absorbance.
Utility features are available for an assortment of functions, for example save LabChart data as a QuickTime movie (Export QuickTime), match a waveform with similar waveforms in a large set (Template), shift data forwards or backwards in time (Shift), create data mathematically (Function Generator) and more.
Files can easily be moved from Macintosh to Windows, or from Windows to Macintosh. You can also convert data that you have recorded with LabChart into other formats such as MATLAB, AXON, IGOR, CVSoft, DATAPAC and more.
Specialist extensions are available for analysis in areas such as cardiovascular, spirometry, electrochemistry, and spectrometry studies. Examples include Absorbance, Cardiac Output, Evoked Response, SAECG, Spirometry, Ventricular Pressure and others. In addition to LabChart Extensions several Modules are available.
